1. Service Description

BookNow.Direct is a SaaS platform that enables accommodation providers to accept direct bookings through branded websites with subdomain or custom domain hosting, booking management, payment processing, calendar synchronisation, and analytics.

2. Account Registration

You must provide accurate information. One person or legal entity per account. You are responsible for your account credentials. You must be at least 18 years old.

3. Subscription & Pricing

Plans are billed monthly via Stripe. Transaction fees apply per booking as specified in your plan. We may change pricing with 30 days' notice. Downgrading may reduce available features or property limits.

4. Payments & Stripe Connect

Property owners connect their Stripe account to receive guest payments. We collect an application fee (commission) per transaction. Stripe's terms (stripe.com/legal) apply to all payment processing. We are not responsible for Stripe service disruptions. Refunds are processed through Stripe per the property's cancellation policy.

5. Property Owner Obligations

Provide accurate property information, images, and pricing
Honour confirmed bookings and stated cancellation policies
Comply with local accommodation laws, tax obligations, and guest registration requirements
Maintain valid Stripe Connect account status
Not use the platform for illegal or fraudulent purposes

6. Guest Bookings

Bookings create a contract between the guest and the property owner. BookNow.Direct facilitates the transaction but is not a party to the accommodation contract. Cancellation and refund terms are set by each property's rate plan.

7. Content & Intellectual Property

Property owners retain rights to their content (descriptions, images). By uploading, you grant us a licence to display it on your BookNow.Direct site. You must not upload content that infringes third-party rights. We may remove content that violates these terms.

8. Calendar Sync (iCal)

iCal import/export is provided as-is. We are not responsible for sync delays, third-party calendar errors, or double bookings resulting from external calendar failures. Property owners should verify availability regularly.

9. Custom Domains

Custom domain support requires DNS configuration by the property owner. We provide SSL certificates automatically. We are not responsible for domain registration, renewal, or DNS propagation issues.

10. Availability & Uptime

We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance. We are not liable for downtime or data loss beyond our control.

11. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BookNow.Direct's total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, lost profits, or lost bookings.

12. Termination

Either party may terminate at any time. Upon termination: your property site is deactivated, existing confirmed bookings remain your responsibility, and your data is retained as required by law then deleted. We may suspend accounts for terms violations with notice.

13. Governing Law

These terms are governed by Greek law. Disputes shall be resolved by the courts of Thessaloniki, Greece.

14. Changes

We may update these terms with 30 days' notice via email. Continued use constitutes acceptance.
